Mr. Jordan has been coaching and teaching lessons in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware areas for 14 years. He specializes in working with competitive swimmers on advance swimming techniques and goals. In addition to competitive lessons, Jordan loves working with new swimmers of all ages on fundamental swimming skills and has experience working with individuals with unique physical, behavioral, and learning needs. He is currently pursuing a SwimAngelfish Swim Whisperers Certification.

Ms. Elise has been working in all aspects of the aquatics industry for 23 years. She specializes in working with our youngest swimmers, our most fearful swimmers, and adults learning to swim for the first time. She loves working with swimmers of all ages and ability levels including working with individuals with unique physical, behavioral, and learning needs. As our resident WSIT/LGIT, she trains and mentors all of our swim instructors and serves as our pool's safety guru. She is currently pursuing a SwimAngelfish Swim Whisperers Certification.

Emily has been teaching swimming lessons for 13 years. She is our Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) instructor teaching children ages 6 months through 6 years vital self-rescue and survival techniques. Ms. Emily also teaching traditional learn-to-swim lessons, working with all ages from our youngest swimmers through adults.

Ms. Amie has been working in aquatics for 25+ years. She specializes in working with individuals with unique physical, behavioral, or learning needs and adult beginners in our Learn-to-Swim program. Ms. Amie is also the Head Coach of our Pre-Competitive Group which helps swimmers learn more advanced swim techniques, become comfortable in a swim practice environment, and work on diving starts and race turns.

Ms. Katie S. has been teaching lessons and coaching swimming for 15+ years. She loves working with our Tiny Fish (6-months-old to 3-years-old) and Little Fish (3- to 5-year-olds) age groups in group and private lessons. As a life-long swimmer herself, Ms. Katie loves teaching swimming fundamentals to pass along her love of the sport to the next generation. She is currently working toward becoming and American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (LGIT).

Mr. Aidan is currently in his third year of teaching lessons at Diamond State Aquatics Swim School. As a competitive swimmer for the past 13 years, Aidan has achieved amazing successes including top-3 finishes in his events at the Delaware State Championships in 2025 and a securing a spot on the First Team All-State. Mr. Aidan love sharing his knowledge of swimming with youth aged 3- to 14-years in both group and private lessons.

Ms. Annika is in her second year teaching swimming lessons with Diamond State Aquatics Swim School. Ms. Annika loves sharing her knowledge of swimming youth aged 3- to 14-years in both group and private lessons.

Joey Bond

Coach Joey grew up swimming competitively in Delaware, competing for Middletown High School and Diamond State Aquatics. As a swimmer Joey was a member of the all-state team and a captain specializing in the 100 breaststroke and holds multiple team records at Middletown High School. He is now a student athlete at Washington College in Chestertown Maryland and pursuing a degree in economics with a minor in finance. Before coaching with DSA he spent time working with Delaware Riptide Aquatics, and Delaware Swim Team. Coach Joey is excited to return to DSA and hopes to make a positive impact on the community through swimming!

Delaney McHugh

Coach Delaney started swimming when she was nine and trained with Coach Zach for five years, which is where she fell in love with the sport. Since then, she has coached at the YMCA and been head coach at Persimmon Creek and Caravel Academy. She is currently a Junior at the University of Delaware studying Economics, but coaching is still a huge part of her life. Delaney loves working with swimmers at all levels and helping them improve, whether they're just starting out or training competitively. Her coaching goal is to make practice challenging but fun, and to help every swimmer get better while enjoying the water.
Coach Delaney teaches lessons on Monday evenings at St. Andrew's School in Middletown and Sundays at DuPont Country Club.
